My Story
Braidery was born from one simple reality. In this era it shouldn't be this hard to care for your own hair.
After years of struggling to find stylists, products, or advice that worked, I realized the problem wasn't our hair. It was the system. Finding the right help too often meant asking around, guessing, or facing rejection.
Growing up, I watched my mother and sisters navigate the same challenges. We'd drive hours to find someone who understood our hair texture, only to leave disappointed. The beauty industry seemed built for everyone except us.
That's when I knew something had to change. As a tech entrepreneur, I saw an opportunity to bridge this gap using artificial intelligence and community-driven solutions.
Braidery was created to fix that by using technology to connect every person, everywhere, with stylists, products, and routines that actually work for their hair type. We're not just building an app – we're creating a movement.
This isn't just about hair.
It's about dignity.
It's about access.
It's about showing up for communities that have never been centered until now.
