My name is Sandrine. I am from Rwanda and now I live in Norway.

Even in Rwanda caring for my hair was never easy. When I came to Norway it became even harder. If I want to braid my hair I have to call a friend ask around or stop someone on the street just to find a stylist. I cannot walk into a normal store and buy shampoo that works for relaxed hair and most salons do not know how to care for it.

One day I went to a salon here hoping for help. They used the wrong shampoo and my hair locked completely. I sat there for five hours watching my hair break while they tried to fix it. That moment changed everything. I realised I had been waiting for someone else to build the solution I needed. No one did. So I decided to build it myself.

That is how Braidery was born.

Braidery is the new Uber for hair. A global hair care companion that connects people with stylists products and routines that truly work. It gives visibility to every hobbyist and stylist with real skills not only those in big salons. Because no one knows hair better than the person who is dedicated to caring for it learning about it and improving it.

Through Braidery I want to empower everyday home experts and passionate braiders who already help strangers friends and family. Everyone deserves access to people who truly understand them. Whether you are a professional a student or a hobbyist you can use your talent to support others and grow your business.

I dream of a world where hair care is not a struggle but a joy. Where no one feels invisible or lost when it comes to their hair or the products they use. With technology and community we can make that real.
