Please read these terms carefully before making a purchase through Braidery.

Braidery is an AI-powered haircare platform that helps people understand their hair through AI-based analysis of texture, porosity, moisture, and condition. The app provides personalised hair routines, product recommendations, and connects consumers with stylists, braiders, and salons. Available on iOS and Android.
2. Definitions
- •User / You — any person who downloads and uses the Braidery app.
- •We / Us / Braidery — BRAIDERY AS, org. nr. 937 035 977.
- •Credits — digital units purchased in the app, used to access AI hair scans and routines.
- •Scan — an AI-powered hair analysis performed using credits.
- •Subscription — a recurring monthly plan giving access to premium features.
- •Professional — a hairstylist, braider, or salon using Braidery's professional tools.
- •Vendor — any professional, salon, or seller offering services or products through the Braidery platform.
3. Products & Prices
All prices are in NOK and include VAT.

ℹBraidery reserves the right to adjust prices. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.
4. Payment
4.1 Payments to Braidery
Payments for AI credit packs, user subscriptions, and professional subscriptions are processed through Vipps. Payment is charged at the time of purchase. All such payments go directly from the buyer to BRAIDERY AS, org. nr. 937 035 977. No payments are collected on behalf of or forwarded to third parties.
4.2 Payments for Vendor Services, Bookings & Products
When you book a service, purchase a product, or make any other transaction with a vendor (stylist, braider, salon, or product seller) through the Braidery platform, the payment and contractual relationship is directly between you (the buyer) and the vendor (the seller). Braidery does not process, receive, hold, or forward any payment on behalf of vendors. Braidery is not a party to the transaction between you and the vendor. The vendor is solely responsible for their own pricing, payment processing, delivery, service quality, and compliance with applicable laws. Any refund, complaint, or dispute relating to a vendor's service, booking, or product must be resolved directly with the vendor. Braidery acts solely as a platform that connects consumers with vendors and does not guarantee, endorse, or assume liability for any vendor transaction.
5. Delivery
Credits are delivered instantly to your account upon successful payment. Subscriptions are activated immediately upon payment. Scans can be performed as soon as credits are available in your account. Delivery of vendor services, bookings, and products is the sole responsibility of the vendor.
6. Account & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to make purchases, or have parental/guardian consent. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. One account per person. Braidery may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
7. AI Credits — Terms of Use
- •Credits are linked to your account and are non-transferable.
- •Credits do not expire.
- •Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
- •Scan results are generated by AI and are for informational purposes only — they do not constitute medical or professional advice.
8. Subscriptions
8.1 Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly via Vipps. Billing starts on the day you subscribe and renews automatically on the same date each month. You will be notified at least 24 hours before renewal.
8.2 Binding period
There is no binding period. You are free to cancel at any time.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access to all subscription features until that date. No refund is given for remaining days in the current period. We will send a confirmation of cancellation by email.
8.4 Automatic renewal
If you do not cancel, your subscription renews automatically. Cancel at any time before the next billing date to avoid being charged.
9. Refund Policy
9.1 AI Credits
All credit purchases are final and non-refundable.
At checkout, you consent to immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal under Angrerettloven § 22 (n).
Exceptions — refund is granted if:
- •Double charge or wrong amount — full refund of incorrect charge.
- •Payment completed but credits not delivered — refund or credit delivery (your choice).
- •Technical error on our side consumed your credits — credits restored.
- •Purchase by a minor without parental consent — full refund upon verification.
- •Unauthorised use of your payment method — full refund upon verification.
Not refundable:
- •Credits that have been used.
- •Change of mind.
- •Dissatisfaction with AI scan results.
9.2 Subscriptions
Within the first 14 days of a new subscription: you may withdraw under Angrerettloven § 20. If you have used the service, we may deduct a proportional amount for the days used (Angrerettloven § 26). After 14 days: cancel anytime, no refund for the current period.
9.3 Vendor Services, Bookings & Products
Braidery does not process payments for vendor transactions and therefore does not handle refunds for vendor services, bookings, or products. If you need a refund for a service, booking, or product purchased from a vendor through the platform, you must contact the vendor directly. The vendor's own terms of sale, refund policy, and cancellation policy apply. Braidery may assist in facilitating communication between you and the vendor but is not responsible for the outcome.
9.4 How to request a refund from Braidery
Email support@braidery.com within 14 days of the issue. Include your name, purchase date, and description of the problem. We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned to Vipps within 5–10 business days.
10. Defective Service
Under the Consumer Purchases Act (Forbrukerkjøpsloven), you have the right to claim if the service is defective — meaning it does not work as described or fails to deliver what was promised.
Your rights:
- •Correction — we fix the problem.
- •Price reduction — if we cannot fix it.
- •Refund — if the defect is significant and cannot be resolved.
You may claim for defects up to 2 years after purchase.
This applies only to services provided directly by Braidery (credits, scans, subscriptions). For defects in vendor services or products, contact the vendor directly. Vendors are independently responsible for meeting their obligations under Norwegian consumer law.
11. Intellectual Property
All content in the Braidery app — including AI models, scan algorithms, design, text, images, and branding — is the property of BRAIDERY AS and is protected by copyright and intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service.
12. Limitation of Liability
Braidery provides AI-generated hair analysis for informational purposes only. Scan results are not medical advice and should not replace consultation with a healthcare or hair professional. Braidery is not liable for decisions made based on scan results. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in question. Braidery is not liable for any loss, damage, dispute, or claim arising from transactions, bookings, services, or products provided by vendors on the platform. All vendor transactions are between the buyer and the vendor, and the vendor bears full responsibility.
13. Professional Accounts
Professionals (stylists, braiders, salons) use Braidery to showcase their services and connect with consumers. Professionals are independent service providers, not employees or agents of Braidery. Any booking, service agreement, or product sale between a consumer and a professional is a direct agreement between those two parties. Payment for vendor services and products goes directly from the buyer to the vendor. Braidery does not receive, hold, or forward any part of vendor payments. Braidery is not responsible for the quality, outcome, pricing, or delivery of services or products provided by professionals.
14. Privacy & Data
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available in the app. Hair scan images are processed securely and stored on encrypted servers. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@braidery.com.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law.
